Silent Night, Holy Night - Stille Nacht

I made this card and the whole time I was remembering one of our Christmas in Germany where my family on Christmas Eve visited the little church, St. Nicholas Church in the small village of Oberndorf, Austria. On December 24, 1818 the Christmas hymn Silent Night was sung in this church for the first time. And now this song is sung in 135 different languages and has over 200 different versions.

This beautiful stamp reminds me so much of the little church where Silent Night was sung for the first time. And all the wonderful memories of those snowy, cold Christmas that we spent in the beautiful country of Germany.

So friends, please allow me to present my card of St. Nicholas Church....

I made this card using Penny Black Stamp and the first challenge is from Friday Sketchers - Week 80 and for Lucy's Card Challenge #1 and it was a color challenge to use pale pink, aqua, and kraft..... So here we have it.... I love buttons can you tell ?????

I have been thinking about this card for days and today I finally got it put together ...... The ribbon on the package on the front is another stamp that is part of M&M Designz Christmas Bonus Pack .... and the chocolate bars on the inside was created by Janette of the Stamping Dragon Designs and all of the images you will find in the different shops ion Digital-Ink Co Shop.

M&M Designz - Christmas Bonus Pack

These are cards made using 2 stamps from the Christmas Bonus Pack. These stamps were created by Judy of M&M Designz. I colored them with copic markers and the wreath I cut out and the then used some patterned paper and card stock. These set of 5 images costs only $4.00 and color up and make great Christmas Cards.
